In this petition,I am addressing the National Defense Authorization Act,which specifically designates the entire world,including the USA as a battlefield and will subject all American citizens to possible military controlled indefinite detention (imprisonment) without due process and the benefit of a fair trial. This is a blatant violation of numerous parts of the constitution and the citizen's rights to due process and a fair trial before imprisonment for accusations of criminal intent or activity that have not taken place.
This specific law will make everyone in the United States blacklisted as a potential terrorist because of numerous unrealistic characteristics and demands. These characteristics are,but are not limited to... Keeping more than 1 week's worth of food in your household,owning any type of gun or ammunition,paying in cash,physical disablements and disabilities,disagreement with government policies,opposition of 1 world government,opposition of the UN and agenda 21,opposition of the Federal reserve,living off the grid,being a prepper for disaster situations,growing your own food supply,etc... The list of characteristics set forth to designate a citizen as a potential terrorist are numerous and unrealistic.
The United States is rapidly becoming a communist police state under the under left wing extremists with the honest,law abiding American citizens being the ones who will suffer. The NDAA will finish off what's left of this country and our freedoms and it must be stopped. We,the citizens of America are demanding that the NDAA be vetoed and become null and void in it's entirety,OR, that section 1031 of the NDAA be amended with the Udall amendment to exempt American citizens from not just military detainment,but all levels of law enforcement detainment. We also demand that in section 1032,that you eliminate the vagueness in description of exemption referring to citizen military detention exemption. This is a loophole that can allow citizens to be detained by other law enforcement agencies other than the military. If making amendments will not be considered,we move to have section 1031 be completely nullified as this section is extremely harmful to the citizens of this country and counterproductive America itself.

Governor Rick Snyder - Marriage Amendments
Dear Governor Snyder,
My wife and I represent approximately 2100 voters in Grand Haven Township Precinct 2, Ottawa County MI as precinct delegates.
Back in 2004 the people of Michigan voted to approve the Marriage Protection Amendment which clearly stated that " union of one man and one woman in marriage shall be the only agreement recognized as a marriage or similar union for any purpose.” This amendment was passed by nearly 60% of the voters.
In May of 2008 the Michigan General Supreme Court ruled that the state’...s constitutional amendment banning same-sex marriages also blocks Michigan governments and state universities from offering “domestic partnership” benefits for homosexual couples. Representative Dave Agema has presented two bills that will clarify the Marriage Protection Amendment so that benefits cannot be offered to same-sex partnerships.
I was one of the 60% that voted for the Amendment and am strongly urging you to defend and uphold our decision. I understand that the left apparently is choosing to ignore our wishes and is asking you to veto HB 4770 and HB 4771.
I supported your campaign and voted for you because of your conservative background. I fully expect you to disregard the pressure from the left and leave the two bills intact.
It's the legal, moral, fiscally responsible thing to do.

Michigan Workers Compensation Bill 5002

Dear Michigan Senators,
I urge you to vote NO on the Michigan Workers Compensation Bill 5002.
The following language has been removed from the Bill at the request of the Michigan Farm Bureau because of undocumented workers that they, and certain farmers feel necessary to use in Michigan labor. "Allow a insurance carrier to discontinue the payment of benefits to a person who was verified to be an undocumented alien."
The Michigan Senate plays a large role in making rules that govern our State. Unfortunately, the removal of the above wording is omission of U.S. law regarding undocumented workers in our Country. Ignoring this must end.
If House Bill 5002 does not have an amendment added back in on the voting day, my wife and I request a NO vote from our Senator Arlan Meekhof, and NO votes from the other Senator's serving the people.

Congress must play the largest role in making rules that govern our country. Unfortunately, the balance of power between the branches has been disturbed and executive agencies distort often decades-old statutes to install presidential policies that Congress never intended and would never approve. This must end.
The REINS Act would ensure that any regulation with an impact of more than $100 million would be subject to an up-or-down vote in both chambers of Congress and would require a presidential signature before the regulation would become law.

Remember, not only did you contribute to Social Security but your employer did too. It totaled 15% of your income before taxes. If you averaged only $30K over your working life, that's close to $220,500.
If you calculate the future value of $4,500 per year (yours & your employer's contribution) at a simple 5% (less than what the govt. pays on the money that it borrows), after 49 years of working you'd have $892,919.98.
If you took out only 3% per year, you'd receive $26,787.60 per year and it would last better than 30 years (until you're 95 if you retire at age 65) and that's with no interest paid on that final amount on deposit! If you bought an annuity and it paid 4% per year, you'd have a lifetime income of $2,976.40 per month.
The folks in Washington have pulled off a bigger Ponzi scheme than Bernie Madhoff ever had.
Entitlement my a**, I paid cash for my social security insurance!!!! Just because they borrowed the money, doesn't make my benefits some kind of charity or handout!!
Congressional benefits ---- free healthcare, outrageous retirement packages, 67 paid holidays, three weeks paid vacation, unlimited paid sick days, now that's welfare, and they have the nerve to call my social security retirement entitlements?
We're "broke" and can't help our own Seniors, Veterans, Orphans, Homeless
In the last months we have provided aid to Haiti , Chile , and Turkey . And now Pakistan .......home of bin Laden. Literally, BILLIONS of DOLLARS!!!
Our retired seniors living on a 'fixed income' receive no aid nor do they get any breaks while our government and religious organizations pour Hundreds of Billions of $$$$$$'s and Tons of Food to Foreign Countries!
They call Social Security and Medicare an entitlement even though most of us have been paying for it all our working lives and now when it’s time for us to collect, the government is running out of money. Why did the government borrow from it in the first place? Imagine if the *GOVERNMENT* gave 'US' the same support they give to other countries.
Sad isn't it?

This does two things; it lets our Representatives know we are very closely watching how they spend our tax dollars on monetary issues, and that they may be subject to replacement in the next election November 2012 if they discount the wishes of their constituents in their voting record.

Just a note to tell you how dis-appointed I am in your vote on the the Bridge N.I.T.C. You have voted against your Constituents wishes, and a majority of the people of Michigan.
As a side note, I want to advise you apparently don't care to hear from your Constituents or others, because you make it extremely difficult for people to contact you. Be a gentleman and open your facebook settings to accept the criticism you deserve.
